It is with a heavy heart that we must say "so long" to Bustout Honey Bee,
who passed away peacefully and without a struggle at her adoptive home in
Illinois last week. Honey Bee was one of the lucky horses, who went to a home and stayed. She
had permanency, consistency, and love for many years, and was well into
her 20's. I guess you could view her adoption as a success story. We'd
like to share some pictures her adopter/owner sent to remember her by. The empty barn with barn door is a bittersweet picture, as it is now
vacant. The good news and hope we have is that someday Honey Bee will be
there to greet her adopter and thank her for her many years of love.
