Molasses In January?

Thank you for asking about how my precious Randy is doing after his recent
episode of choke. I am pleased to say that, thanks to Dr. Terry Miller of
Cashton Vet Clinic, and our special loving care, Randy is doing just fine!

We were proactive in treatment, expecting that, at worst, he would develop
pneumonia. Thank God, he didn't! He wasn't a bit fond of the bute, and
the penicillin was on standby in case he spiked a fever. The fighter that
he is, he recovered well. I still have him on pelleted sweet feed, but am
sure to wet it down completely now and put a little molasses on it to
boot! Now I know what molasses is like in January, and it isn't all that
slow! I mean, a little squeeze, and out it comes! The dogs loved licking
the sides of the bucket, and I have the pictures to show it.

Friday was chilly, but our school to work client came out to brave the
winter weather anyway, all bundled up. The cats especially liked riding
on his shoulders!

I have enclosed some pictures of what things look like outside right now,
and will soon send more "thank yous" for the donations we have received
most recently.

Take care!
Sue
