Hi everyone, We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of our grant from the ASPCA - in the
meantime, bills continue to pile up and we are again forced to ask for
help.
I think if we can get over this next hump we may be able to find an angel
investor or someone to invest with operating expenses related to summer
programming. We are very fortunate that we have been able to adopt out a few horses
recently that have given us assistance we so greatly need to support the
horses in our care. We cry out for sponsorship dollars to continue
providing for the horses at ASAP, but there are many in foster care who
may be returned that ASAP simply cannot support without donations. What is needed:
$20 per trim for

Bob Cook
Stylish Sharon

Tex Homes for any of the above Hay hay hay hay - always an expense - and feed. Our last check to or
farmers union was returned NSF - and recently I have deposited $2,000 for
past hay bills, feed, and farrier care. Vet bills
Coggins for 15 horses - our vet bills stand at $800 currently without the
last emergency charge for a boarded filly which exceeded $150. While we cannot accommodate any more horses at the farm, there continues
to be foster families that are providing care at their own expense for the
horses. When they become strained, ASAP is the next stop for the horses.

Solomon - just to name a few! We are seeing a turnaround in adoptions this year and are hopeful that
more than ever horses will find their forever homes. In the meantime, we
plead with race tracks, harness racing organizations, and former owners
and trainers to sponsor the horses they have donated over the years. This is a hard email to write - we are hoping by August to never have to
write one like it again - and hope that ASAP can be back on its feet. We would encourage you to send ideas for fund raisers that you are able to
enlist volunteers in your area to help with. Many of you have had great
ideas in the past but it leaves the work in our laps. We simply don't
have the time and manpower it takes to conduct the fundraisers so are
asking for anyone out there willing to write a grant or donate items to
raffle or silent auction to initiate it. The horses need you! Pictures enclosed are Ray and Alice H's horses Pistol Pete N and Penguin

events.
