We have a local Amish man whose father purchased a young Standardbred at
the Thorpe sale this past year. The horse is gentle and kind and willing,
but at great speeds begins to "gimp". The horse was taken back to the track and the track vet to reevaluate the
condition that caused his retirement and some things were tried. The horse still is "off" at high speeds. The Amish man does not believe
he will be a road horse and the horse will be sold to a kill buyer if we
do not find a place for him by Friday. If you can help please let me know! Cell 608-792-5126....we don't have
much time.
