I went to see Dynomite last night up at the Amish man's farm. He is
thin, and was recently in a buggy wreck (4 wheeler almost collided with
horse and buggy), so he has multiple scrapes and cuts all over him. He has a kind and gentle eye, and really perked up when he saw me walking
towards him almost like he recognized me. He has bleached out being in
the sun, and one shoe has fallen off. Since he is not currently being
used he is "out to pasture". He seemed sound to me. I should never have gone...because now my heart is
crying out to do everything possible to save him. The Amish man will not
take a penny under $500, and feels he could get more at the next sale
(?????????in that condition?). I have until Monday to try to rally funds to save him. The man who went
with me last night to look at him refused to pay $500 - but I know he
would adopt him if we could raise the money needed. This horse made over $70,000 before retiring at age 8. He is gentle and
kind - we gotta help him! Please let me know your thoughts! Susan
