The Texas Ag Dept and USDA is assisting ASAP with attempting to recover
Magic.
We just sent two pictures to Jon Garza, official at the border, and if
Magic is there (if we can find out which port) they will do all they can
to save him. There is some doubt about whether or not Magic actually shipped to Mexico,
since the kill buyer also takes horses to auctions and has his own. If any of you know of any upcoming auctions in Thorpe or anywhere near
Black River Falls, please let me know. We would also love if someone were
able to check the kill buyer's property for positive ID on Magic. We're doing all we can. Sue
