OK everyone, this is the frustrating part of what we do. Human nature can be a bit unpredictable. First of all, hats off to the owner of these two mares, who got the vet out to draw coggins and do an interstate health certificate for horses to travel to Wisconsin. This all takes a bit of time, especially with the holidays........meanwhile...........
the people who went through the process to be approved to adopt decided to take in two other rescues - two colts six and seven months old, locally. This leaves no room at the inn for the mares. While this does not seem fair, and is quite frustrating, I believe that the right person will come along. Thanks so much to Joe for his patience as we scramble to assist him in placing the girls.
